Some of you know us, some don’t. But these are my new wives. Two of the greatest singers I’ve ever worked with. Holly Palmer, Michelle Lewis and I have joined forces in what started out as a side-thing-we-do-in-our-spare-time-for-fun. It has now turned into a full-blown love affair and we are damn serious about it. People have called us nü berlesk, extremely flirtatious and”suggestive” Andrews Sisters and recently Andy Dick called us The Andrews Dick Sisters. We are THE GOODS. Here is us singing our latest song “Happy That It’s You!” at a crazy little party in Hollywood…

I have been working a lot with the incredibly fierce (with a Z-snap formation!) Brooklyn-Texas band Snarky Puppy. If you don’t know them, CHECK THEM OUT. They just recorded a new live CD/DVD and it is beautiful perfection. We have done a ton of shows together this year and started performing “Be My Husband” on the road together. Serious magic came out of it. We recorded it on the road at The Jefferson Center in Roanoke, VA and then made this funky little video in the East Village, NYC with our good friend Simon C.F. Yu who directed it. I like to say think it’s Home Shopping Network meets Pulp Fiction. This is one of my faaavorite Nina Simone songs. I felt I want to record a song with a lot of space in it and have room for a vocal to soar upon a bed of stomps and claps, which I had never really done before. Soooo….ENJOY, PEOPLE!!!!!!!!
