Slow Recovery is the first single off of Hooked! and some of you may know it already. We remixed and remastered it for this album. “Slow Recovery” is produced by the amazing Tim K.

“Sans Souci” is a cover by the the very special Peggy Lee (my new obsession). It is a little obscure song that is so rich and swooning and no one has really heard of it so I had to cover it. “Sans Souci” is produced by the legendary Tony Visconti (who worked on the bulk of the record) and did an unbelievable job. This song is also on a very cool Verve compilation called “Live Your Life With Verve” (available on iTunes). I have the honor of being lined up next to Jamie Cullum, Melody Gardot, Imelda May and Nellie McKay. So if you want a killer Verve compilation, get this baby.
